Welcome to my blog!
I am a newly-wed living in beautiful Boulder, Colorado, and I am head over heels for my wonderful husband! He is my greatest encouragement through all of my projects, and has helped me grow in so many awesome ways. My beliefs in Jesus Christ as my Savior are unabashed, and I pray that knowing that will not keep you from reading my blog!
There are a lot of 'hobbies' that I enjoy pursuing, and I am blessed to be a 'stay-at-home wife' to have time to really focus on them. First and foremost, I absolutely love to crochet! I also love to draw, paint, write, play the piano, sing, create vector images, take photographs and experiment with all sorts of media to create beautiful art. To me, all of these endeavors are both relaxing and stimulating -- I enjoy stretching my artistic mind!
I majored in Civil Engineering with a minor in Architecture, graduating in 2011 from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL. I enjoy math, science and literature, and am still leaving the door open to pursue any of those endeavors, should God call me to them!
To be honest, sometimes I feel like I have too many options to choose from.
For now, I am focusing my time and energy on my crochet, as well as a book that God has called me to write. I am so excited to be sharing my work, my processes, my patterns, and a portion of my life with you!
